NFC Review Card, Coin, Standee or Plate: Which Should You Choose?

NFC Google Review Standee for Pakistan

All four products do the same job: when a customer taps or scans, your review page opens. They differ in size, where you can put them and who can use them. Choosing the right shape matters more than most people expect, because a product that is out of sight or awkward to use will not be tapped. This guide compares the four and helps you decide.

The four products at a glance

Product Format Chip QR code Best placed
Review card PVC card, 85.6 × 54 mm Genuine NXP NTAG215 Printed on the back Handed over, in a bill folder, at reception
Review coin Small round tag, self-adhesive back Genuine NXP NTAG213 Tap only: no QR code is listed on the product Beside a card machine, on a menu or counter
Standee Table-top standee with NFC tap area Genuine NXP NTAG215 Yes Tables and counters
Desk plate Flat square plate, 100 × 100 mm Genuine NXP NTAG213 Yes, NFC plus QR Counters and reception desks

All four work with iPhone XS and newer and NFC-enabled Android phones, with no app. Each is programmed with your link and tested before dispatch.

NFC review card

A card is the most flexible option. You can hand it to a customer, keep one in each bill folder, or give a few to staff. The QR code on the back means phones without NFC can still use it. Cards are also the product that exists for the widest range of platforms: Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Trustpilot and more.

Choose a card if your staff serve customers face to face, you want to hand something over, or you need a platform other than Google.

NFC review coin

The coin is small and has a self-adhesive back, so it fits where a card will not: next to a payment terminal, on a menu cover, on a bill folder or counter, or inside delivery bags. It is the lowest-cost way to put a tap point in several places.

Because the product page does not list a QR code on the coin, treat it as tap-only. Customers with phones that cannot read NFC will not be able to use it, so pair it with a card or plate in places where that matters. Also keep coins off metal surfaces, which interfere with NFC.

Choose a coin if you want several inexpensive tap points around the counter and your customers mostly carry modern smartphones.

Standee

A table-top standee stays upright on a counter or table and shows the tap area and QR code clearly. It does not need anyone to hand it over, so it keeps working while staff are busy.

Choose a standee if customers sit at tables or queue at a counter and you want something visible that stands on its own.

Desk plate

The plate is a flat 100 × 100 mm square made for counters and reception desks. It has NFC and a QR code. For a wall or a glass door, double-sided mounting tape works. Check with us whether tape is included with your order.

Choose a plate if you have a reception desk or a clean counter, such as a clinic, salon, showroom or office.

Which suits your business?

  • Restaurant or café: a standee on tables or at the counter, plus coins beside the card machine or on the bill folder. See NFC cards for restaurants, cafés and hotels.
  • Salon or clinic: a plate at reception and cards handed over at checkout. See NFC cards for salons, clinics and shops.
  • Retail shop: a coin at the till, a standee on the counter.
  • Delivery or home service: coins in bags and cards handed over at the door.
  • Hotel or guest house: cards in the room or at the front desk for Tripadvisor or Booking.com, and a plate at reception.

Can you mix them?

Yes. Many businesses use a standee or plate for passive visibility and cards or coins for the moment of payment. If you mix, make sure every one carries the correct link for that location.

Whatever you choose, ask honestly

None of these products guarantees reviews or ratings. They remove the effort of searching for your page. Google does not allow rewards for reviews or asking only happy customers, and other platforms have rules too. Read how to ask for Google reviews the right way, and make sure you have the right link first: how to find your Google review link. For a general overview, see the NFC review cards guide.

Frequently asked questions

Which one gets the most taps?

There is no reliable rule. The best product is the one customers see at the moment they are ready to leave a review.

Do I need NFC and a QR code?

It helps. A QR code covers phones without NFC. The coin is tap-only, so use it alongside a product with a QR code.

Can I change the link after I order?

The link is fixed when the product is programmed, so check it before you send it.

How do I order?
