Short answer: put the one thing customers need first. A doctor needs a name, qualification, speciality and clinic timings; a lawyer needs a name, practice area and chamber address; a shop needs the shop name, what it sells and a location; a freelancer needs a skill and a portfolio link. Use the same clean layout for all of them, with the detail that matters to that profession.
Doctors and clinics
- Name, qualification (as registered) and speciality.
- Clinic or hospital name, address and timings.
- One appointment number, plus WhatsApp if you take bookings there.
- A map link or QR code for the clinic.
Keep it calm: white or light background, one accent colour. A longer treatment list belongs on a web page, not the card. For more on clinics, see NFC business cards for doctors and clinics.
Lawyers and consultants
- Name, practice area and bar association details where relevant.
- Chamber address and one direct number.
- Restrained design: dark text, plain background, a firm’s logo.
Shops and local businesses
- Shop name and logo large, with what you sell in a few words.
- Address, nearest landmark and opening hours.
- WhatsApp number for orders and a QR code for your location or catalogue.
- A review request: customers often take a card home, so a short line like “Review us on Google” helps. An NFC review card opens your review page with one tap.
Real estate agents
- Photo, name and area you work in.
- Agency name and licence details if required.
- Phone and WhatsApp; a QR code to your listings.
Freelancers and creatives
- Name and one clear skill (“Graphic Designer”, “Wedding Photographer”).
- Portfolio link or QR code to your best work.
- Minimal text and a distinctive layout, since the card itself is a sample of your taste.
One layout, different details
You do not need a different design for each job. A simple two-sided layout works for most: logo and name on the front; details and QR code on the back. For twelve layouts to adapt, see visiting card design ideas, and for dimensions see visiting card size.
How an NFC card helps each profession
A tap opens a profile with phone, WhatsApp, location, hours and links, so the printed card does not need to carry everything. See NFC visiting cards or message us on WhatsApp +92 335 6656657.
